Children Of The Dust

20 Nov

This writing is dedicated to the stolen

 generation of Aboriginal children taken

from their families and culture in the days

of early settlement of Australia by the

 white man

My Little One

Of The Stolen Heart

Your Small Delicate Soul

Taken From the Mother Core

Of Your Birth

By The Ever Changing Winds

Of The Unknown

Again And Again

The Cycle Is Unfulfilled

Your Little Soul

Knows Its Path

Yet Strangled By Souls

Of Those with Eyes Closed

And Ears Deaf

To The Very Existence

Of Our Journey

Little Spirit Soul

Care Not For What

They Do Not See

Hold My Hand

Little Sister

Walk With Me

I Will Show You the Colours

Of Our Beautiful Land

I Will Awake the Dreaming

In Your Heart

To See Those Visions

Of Eternal Beauty

That Play upon Our Soul

And Listen To the Laugh

Of Our Mornings

Early Call

Let Me See the Sun Rise

In Your Eyes

And Smile Her Smile

Upon Her Stolen Child

Sit With Me

My Princess from The Past

Feel the Soil

Beneath Our Feet

Hold My Hand

And Sing With Me

As The Winds Spirits

Cover Your Broken Heart

In Her Lullaby of Love

Care Not For Changes

That Cannot Hurt

Our Souls

You Are Pure Of Heart

And Pure Of Soul

Stay Close to Me

Little One

Recall the Times Of Long Ago

Our Souls Belonged

To The Skies and Heavens

And The Soils of Our Earth

Belonged To All

For You Little Spirit From

The Dreaming

Take Heart

Your Soul Is Precious

Little One

My Vision Fades

As Once Again

Your Soul Will Soar

Clasped In the Hands

Of The Eternal Spirit

Of Our Lands

The Canadians treat their “First Citizens” well. That status has yet to be conferred by the Australian government to the Aborigines, whose numbers are dwindling at an alarming rate! Suicides and alcoholism are also in the increase among them for years. How sad! Acknowledgement of past mistakes is not good enough to right things.

I agree wholeheartedly my friend, our original Aborigines do suffer for many reasons, I think we have tried to get them adapted to our way of life, in doing so we have removed them from what is actually their culture.
The Aborigine is a man of the Earth, his concept of life and nature, far surpasses any concept the White man has.

A sad true Tale of how the ‘whiteman’ created the injustices upon all our indigenous peoples around our world,, The indigenous races will rise again though and are already being guided by the spirits of such souls.. For their knowledge of the Universe will resound around our globe as being Truth,, And those who now think they are so superior to that of our Native brothers and sisters are in for a rude awakening .. As our Children of the Dust will once more scatter their lights around this world, as they lead us back to the Spirit lands..

This is a very sad, moving post. I will now do some more research on Aboriginal children. Thank you Ian.

A dreadful crime and tragedy that all the lost children suffered.

Even sadder when you include all that the Transported children of England who were told their parents had died and were carried to Australia to be exploited and abused by the very people supposed to care for them.

    May They All Find Peace…
