See Ya Later Alligator

16 Oct

A trip down memory lane for those who have been blessed in age and a memory when these old songs had a meaning , and still do, many of the songs I choose are from my time as a DJ and if you are like me , the reason a song remains in your heart is because it is associated with an incident , time or love and even sadness that affected you in one way or another.

Hope you are enjoying my Radio Emu. This song is by Bill Haley and the Comets and has been done done beautifully to Animation

Hope it brings back great memories of the Rock and Roll era and more importantly , puts a smile on ya dial.

Cheers Emu

Another great choice… and loved to Jive! ( Dance) for those who may not remember lol.. .. and this got my feet a tapping.. They don’t sing them like they used to….. You could hear every word of the lyrics way back when..
    See you later… Alligator!

I’m trying to log in for the umptiest time and will quit if this doesn’t work … Thanks for your blog, Ian, it made my day … Just returned from Russia, was hoping for some healing regarding my family to take place … am so sure at this time … having some heavy duty nightmares … I better shut up for now, don’t want to come across as depressing … 🙂 Love, always, cat.

Stay positive Cat and it will help towards healing
I understand about nightmares as well from my war days
maybe not like yours but can be terrifying , maybe a visit to a Reiki healer may help,
I go to one every few months and it is like a breath of fresh air on my soul
Cheers girl and remember to smile , it eases the heart
