Australian Goanna

29 Dec

My brother Daryl and I share a great affinity with our country , both the indiginous peoples and their beliefs and culture as well as our Australian wildlife. We take photographs whenever we get a chance . We live about 5 hours away from each other and go on expeditions and adventures separately due to the difference but share what we find with each other. These are pics Daryl took on a trip to Rennie New South Wales , the goanna may look scary but is more inclined to run and hide than confront .

Cheers Emu

From my brother Daryl

Thought you might like these pics , I was on an adventure to Boat Rock well – a water hole in solid rock near Rennie NSW made by the Indiginous countless years ago to catch the rainfall on a granite slope .. The goanna was on the ground and bolted up the tree when it saw us.
