Booo – this one copyright too!

But as for cartoons – I used to love Casper, Little Lotta, Little Audrey, Richie Rich. Love those oldies 🙂

Totally different from today;s creations. I have a DVD with some old-fashioned cartoons and my children enjoy it as much as Disney’s latest offering.

I agree Colline , todays cartoons dont seem to hold the magic
of the original Walt Disney cartoons.

The old cartoonys were classics Sue , some took years to make and then were cut sometimes
as they were thought as too adult and not suitable for children , wow haven’t times changed

Glad you enjoyed that little trip down memory lane
They certainly put a lot of work into cartoons way back then
and even then some were cut or considered unsuitable for children

Ahh this was great what a Hoot!! Snow white and the Seven Dwarfs took two years to make. Can you imagine that , one peice that was never shown took 8 months to complete and decided to cut it out. As you say these were Great Cartoons.
    Thanks Emu
Hope you having a Lovely Summer

Hi Sheila , yes I believe that these old cartoons took many months
and as you say , just for one segment which were cut quite often
Some were deemed unsuitable for children too,
Hope all is fine with you Sheila
