Quinces Versus Viagra ( No Rude answers Please )

06 May

G’day to my friends who follow the old Emu’s ramblings

Hope your weekend is going well , here in Mildura Australia its a beautiful sunny day but the nights are starting to get colder, cold enough to forgive the missus and cuddle up together.

Now what I am blogging about today is fruit, yes boys and girls, fruit, particularly this fruit called Quince, now the old Emu is not a fruit eating person but I was given a few Quinces from a mate of mine who swears by their value in stimulating the nether reasons that enevitably die out with us males as the years catch up. So I am throwing myself at the mercy of my friends to give me some hints on what Quince are for particularly its rejuvenating properties as when you get to my age we forget what the Viagra was for but just know it stops us from rolling out of bed ,so any secret family recipes on how to cook or what you can do with Quinces would be much appreciated, also tell me if these are goodlooking sized Quinces.

Cheers , wishing you all a great Sunday

Emu

I have heard of Jamie Oliver Sue, believe he is here in Australia somewhere or he was here
I think I will leave the quinces alone as they dont really appeal to me, Ana enjoys them though
They have to be really softened until they turn black, dont know how she can enjoy them
as I recall their taste much like sour lemons.
      Cheers

It is getting cold mornings & evenings now isn’t it? I never liked the summer, so should not complain. I laughed when I read about Quinces helping mens ‘Nether Regions’ as you put it. I asked my partner & he had not heard of them helping either. So, if I see a pile of them in the fruit bowel, I will know he is trying them out. Lots Of Hugs, Valerie x0x

    Hi,

Beautiful days here as well in Brisbane, I had to get the blankets out last night, and the warm clothes, it is nice to get a bit of cooler weather for a change. 🙂

Greeting my Brissy friend, yes I think winter is on its way down here, still remember the long hot summers up un QLD when the ten year drought was on and we had timers for our showers and bucket watering.

Yes that is what happens when the powers that be didn’t build any new dams as the population was growing.
We had all those floods, and the water was just wasted, next drought we will be going through it all again. 😦

One thing about this great country mate is that it changes all the time
and the people still adapt and meet at the local pub to discuss the situation
Have you ever noticed as I have that no matter what catastrophe hits Australia , be it floods or bushfires
the people all end up meeting at the only safe secure building in town , the pub.
For example do you remember every time that Birdsville gets isolated by floods every one gravitates to the pub
and it never runs dry, hehe, the builders of the towns in the old days made the pub the centre of the town , to withstand all calamities
