Jimmy The Koala

11 Jul

An orphaned koala who became an international star after images of him were posted on Tourism Australia’s Facebook page has been released back into the wilderness.
Jimmy was hit by a car on the New South Wales coast a few years ago, in an accident that killed his mother and left him badly injured.
But after years of rehabilitation at Port Macquarie Koala Hospital he is fighting fit again and ready to resume his life in the bush.

Sadly little Jimmy is becoming an endangered species due to bushfires a few years ago and disease,
A pity as they really are a beautiful creature.
      Wishing you well my friend

Yes it is always the wildlife that suffer so greatly and it is a real shame that such sweet creatures are endangered, it is up to mankind to set the record straight and burture these koala Bears back into a thriving existence, I hope it is in time as without these fine examples of nature the world will miss out on something exceedingly special… Be well my great friend and enjoy the rest of your week 🙂

Thanks for visiting and glad you enjoyed little Jimmy, they are really adorable at that age, we lost many a few years back here when bushfires swept through our state, they are really an endangered species now.

Hi Sue , just a little home story I thought I would share,
hope all is well over your way, Ana is talking about going back to Santiago soon
maybe later in the year or early next year, last time I went it was 16 hours on a flight, no land between New Zealand and South America
Plenty of sleeping pills helped the trip.
Can you imagine 16 hours without a bloody cigarette, if you wanted to fart it was in the loo with 500 people on board its a bloody queue like at a CWA womans bloody lamington drive.
Raining over here and a few storms , looking forward to a heatwave summer
Cheers Sue and regards to the old fart
