Great share Ian.. and enjoyed them all Ian.. Those Buildings look well used..

I have just started watching a New Series on the BBC called ‘Banished’… about the prisoners when they were first transported to Australia .. Cruel lot of soldiers that kept them..The first episode started last week..

    Have a great week

Hi Sue, thanks for the visit, your seeing banished already, Ana tried to get it here, seems Australia can’t decide till June this year when we can get to see it.
All your damn fault anyway Sue, you put us in the hulks on the Thames and sent us out here for the term of our natural lives.

Hi-hola Ian! wonderful pix, as usually… my question is: is it true that the Australian Gov has decided “to put to sleep” about 700 koalas?!… 😦 sad, outraging and pathetic:

Hi Melanie, I am sorry that I don’t get around to moderating comments as fast as I used to these days, age and life does have a tendency to catch up sometimes, rest assured I do respond to every comment on my site, unfortunately many people do not pay the same respects, I have many on my site still waiting for moderation that seems to just disappear into the nether world.
Unfortunately Australia does cull Koala’s, something I don’t agree with, there is a reason for this apparently, Koala’s have a natural habitat that is only in certain areas in Australia, primarily they need the Eucalyptus trees to survive in, Eucalyptus does not grow throughout Australia, so even relocating the Koala’s is not an answer, back before the white mans days, nature culled itself, urban development has caused many problems to indigenous species, no more so than in many countries around the world, I certainly don’t condone culling but it seems mankind has to make decisions that Mother nature used to do naturally.
      Regards

My particular part of the world does have some amazing scenery and history.
I love the ruggedness and diversity everywhere you go.
      Have a great Sunday mate.

Glad you enjoyed them Uta, I love pics that show our pioneering past, especially the old buildings.
      Cheers.

That happened to me once as well, was slow to load until I deleted all the cookies, they do slow your computer down.
I have to go gold detecting one day, some lucky bastard found a decent nugget down Wedderburn way recently.

Good morning Prenin, hope all is well.
There is a lot of pioneering history in Australia, mainly the old buildings in the goldfield areas.
Some lucky bastard found a gold nugget yesterday in one of the old gold areas, worth $200,000.
      Cheers.
