I have a great collection of many of Elvis’s movies which we see again now and then, maybe it’s old age but I don’t get the same kick out of them as in the olden days, he is still great but his movies tend to be predictable, but I’m not complaining, he shaped the future of the sixties music industry.

He certainly left his mark in the entertainment industry Sue, still enjoy his movies though, at the moment I’m going through the John Wayne Western movies, great to look back on the acting and storylines in the old ones.
Have a great week Sue, Tuesday here and Easter all done for this year.

Good to know I am not alone in the world of John Wayne westerns.
Recommend to hubby John Wayne in The Haunted Gold, great story and a few good shootouts, and as usual, a damsel in distress.
Reckon your hubby would like Rifleman with Chuck Connors, Gunsmoke, Rawhide, Bat Masterson and a few others, all great westerns.
He will probably remember Cisco and Poncho.

no possible doubt: he’s an immortal icon and a living legend… can you imagine he was fair-haired and he would dye his hair as his “dream” was to be… black! 🙂

I didn’t know he dyed his hair, certainly immortal icon as you say, I only posted that blog because of the picture I found, it shows that rebellious curl of the lip that made the girls swoon.
