Being a British subject not by birth but by “married into” naturalization, that will always mean conflict, friend Ian … as I deeply believe, that each nation should not belong to any other nation but their own … Some day we will be free … … Love U, cat.

I agree Cat, each nation must retain its own identity and culture.
Too much bullshit going on around the world these days.
      Keep smiling Gypsy Girl.

Love the Royals, they earn their keep and give us stability when needed – be a pity to lose them! 🙂

    God Bless!

Hi Prenin, no matter what people today think of the Royal Family, to me they have always been an emblem of British solidarity, and always portray a sense of security in the world.

They are beautiful. Queen Mother was a sweet and elegant woman. My mother used to like to remind me that I was exactly i day older than Princess Anne – I don’t have a clue what she expected me to do with that info though.

Your Mothers intentions in letting you know that you were exactly a day older than Princess Anne, was for you to remember this at all times, so it seems your Mothers intentions was right, you never forgot you are a day older than Princess Anne, haha.

Ian, this is always nice to see the early days of the “Royal Family” which have always seemed “real” and approachable to me. My Mom was in Europe when Queen Elizabeth started out on the throne, not that many years between them. She also enjoys the news about babies and marriages of the royals. Mom named me Robin Elizabeth. ha ha! LOL 😀

Great to read your comment Robin, the Royals have always portrayed a sense of solidarity to me, people today may have a different opinion on the Royals but they have always been the backbone of British history.
