Hi Sue, sorry for the late reply, we certainly have been having some heat here, four days in a row with temps in the 40s, nights are hot and stifling even with air conditioner, not really looking forward to Summer this year if this warm weather is any indication.
      Cheers

Hi Renee, a real pleasure to hear from you, do hope you are well and in good health.
I have been quiet since returning from Chile, a few personal problems had to be sorted out, I will be back and active on Word press again soon.
I don’t seem to get many posts from you, and presume life is keeping you busy.
I send you kindest regards and best wishes Renee.

It has been a long stretch recovering from open heart surgery I had last year. Am just now recovered from an upper GI bleed I had in April. I haven’t been posting very much but am trying to visit sites and such. I have begun writing on my book once again so have been busy there. I am glad you are well and will write again. My best wishes to you as well. Ian.

Keep up with writing Renee, it’s good for the Soul.Reserve me a book when it’s completed okay.
Kind regards and Best wishes for a beautiful weekend.

    Hi Ian! 🙂

I’m playing catch-up, so here’s the response to Friday’s blog when I had food poisoning! 🙂

I have no idea what the source of the infection was, but I sterilised everything.

I DEFINITELY had diarrhoea – it was pissing out of me for two days – but fasting helped and I was back to normal by Sunday although I was worried in case it showed up again Monday! 🙂

I kept up my fluids though, something I remembered from my pre-nursing days! 🙂

Yes the ‘Aid Convoy’ had seven or eight men in each truck and were mostly empty.

Looks like Putin is trying it on, but hasn’t gotten away with it so far.

The armoured column that got shot up is a case in point.

He’s playing games and so far has got away with nothing.

The news said a convoy of refugees escaping the fighting in coaches got shot up, killing most of those men, women and children in it despite carrying clearly visible white flags.

Naturally both sides are blaming each other, but the pro-Russians have no credibility any more.

The pro-Russian leadership are now threatening to execute their own fighters if they don’t obey orders and fight – just like Hitler did towards the end of WWII.

If they don’t get more support from Russia, then they are finished…

    God Bless!

    Prenin.

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Facebook is screwed up so I’m having to reply here!!! 😦

There’s a link on the blog referring to it, it SHOULD work, but something’s wrong with the internet and nothing seems to be safe!!! 😦

Yes it IS funny: Medvedev was most unhappy and so is Putin – he wants to take Russia back to being an Empire 😦

    Dissent is not tolerated… 😦

We’ve got the weather conspiring to bring Arctic air south so we’re even getting frost in Scotland apparently.

When I got up it was 13’C outside and 22’C inside. 😦

I’m having a glass a day to unwind and help me relax as my heavy drinking days are over! 🙂

You have a great week my friend!!! 🙂

    Hi Ian! 🙂

    Second comment!!! 🙂

Yes, it feels strange to be so quiet after decades of hassle, but I AM enjoying it!!! 🙂

Yes, our weather is going from one extreme to the other here, but nothing like you endure in Australia! 🙂

Hope the warm weather arrives soon my friend, sounds like you could use it! 🙂

I don’t get called up for jury duty as I am a few tiles short of a full roof, but I know you’ll do the job well! 🙂

    Ice?

    Is that crystal methamphetamine?

There are so many drugs around these days it’s hard to keep track… 😦

I’m so sorry you are suffering my friend, I hope nothing worse befalls you – osteoporosis is not a fun thing to suffer from… 😦

Yes Ian I agree about Facebook!!! 😦

Apparently not only can my mum read my comments, so also can my niece Marie and through her so can the rest of the family – and I only added my mum!!! 😦

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Thanks for the visit and comment!!! 🙂

Yep the diet seems to be working, but slowly, and apart from the feeling of constant hunger and tiredness is working pretty well! 🙂

My birthday was good, but I am seriously considering coming off Facebook as my mother is aggressively monitoring my activity and complaining every time I post something she does not like, preferring me to be a liar and/or delusional than accept it is the truth.

She also phoned me to try and ‘explain’ my bad memories as perfectly harmless events in my life and that the rest of it ‘never happened’. 😦

So my broken nose and scars are delusion apparently and the bad memories that were verified by my tormentors are due to my mental illness… 😦

Needless to day I’m feeling sick and angry, but I just agreed with her to get rid of her.

    God Bless my friend!

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Thanks for the visit and comment! 🙂

Yes it WAS rather eventful wasn’t it? 🙂

The Police have NOT been round so I guess nobody made a complaint. 😦

The lads on the mopeds (one without a helmet which is illegal) are well known trouble causers who cause hassle and they ride away before their victims can retaliate.

This time these 25mph bikes couldn’t outrun a pissed off truck driver! 🙂

    Second Comment! 🙂

I agree about the uptake of fluids.

I’m drinking more tea and I’m feeling better for it. 🙂

Congratulations on the win my friend, hope you get the Big One!!! 🙂

Ours is at £20 Million so I am Keeping my fingers crossed as the draw is tonight! 🙂

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Just caught your second comment!!! 🙂

Yes, Doug is an ‘interesting’ character.

He lost his benefits because he wasn’t looking for work hard enough, trying to dominate and control the system (He’s a Narcissistic personality) and getting nasty when he failed, getting escorted out of the Job Centre by security and having to claim his benefits by post, but he refused to do so and lost his benefits.

He had £6,290 from his mother’s will, but he left the money in his sister’s account and claimed housing benefit on the grounds he had no money to pay his rent.

In the time I’ve known him he has used any excuse to get through my door, then wouldn’t leave until he had money for drink and a rant about how he was going to kill the staff at the Job Centre, cripple some of the staff with a hammer, smash the place up, etc.

Time and again he has tried to intimidate me with his threats to get a gun and boasted how his mate could get him a shotgun as soon as he knew he was getting money from his mother’s will.

Once he had the money from his mother’s estate he asked to use my phone, asked to sit down as he’d hurt his back (his excuse for not cleaning his flat) with his usual ‘pity me’ routine and then ranted for an hour about what he was going to do to the Job Centre staff etc.

Then Julia our Housing Manager, gave him an ultimatum to get him to clean up his flat, so he started going on about how he was going to kill her and/or a civil servant.

I too worry about Doug becoming a bus driver.

He failed the physical because he was supposed to quit drinking for a month, but could barely manage to stop for one day, so now he plans to pay for his own training.

God help anyone who gets him as a driver… 😦

So far he has blown over £3,200 on booze and drugs, yet insists Alison ‘Rinsed Him’ of £1,200 the first time he met her only to let her into his home after telling me if she showed up again to not let her in and if I heard an argument I was to call the Police! 😦

Keeping him at arms length is difficult because I block him, he tries to slime his way in, I block him, he goes away and comes back again and again until he gets through my door, then he does his ranting routine again! 😦

Hopefully I won’t see him for a while as he’s in trouble with the Police, but for what I do not know… 😦

    It’s all downhill from here… 😦

    God Bless! 🙂

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Thanks as always for the visit and comment!!! 🙂

I have central heating so the flat is warm in winter – if expensive to run – and during the summer we can get up to 32’C occasionally, but so far it hasn’t got above 24’C so I’m glad of that! 🙂

Hope you don’t get too cold my friend, here we get snow occasionally along with bitter cold, but last winter we had torrential rain and flooding on a massive scale which caused a lot of property damage.

Unfortunately this is likely to happen more and more often which means the government will have to spend money on dredging rivers and shoring up flood defences which they tried to cut back on, hence the flooding… 😦

Hope things warm up for you soon! 🙂

    God Bless!

Iraq is going to fall apart as their army seems more interested in running away!

It will have stiffened their spines a bit when they learned of what ISIS do to prisoners! 😦

The Americans are looking at robot air support so they don’t risk any American lives and Cameron is talking about just sending money.

Iran, ironically, is the only country willing to send military support and they and the Americans are now talking, Iran long calling America the Great Enemy! 🙂

According to reports 400 British Asians are fighting in Syria and Iraq, so God help us when THEY decide to come home… 😦

Still not safe to go out in the evenings though… 😦

James is due to visit Tuesday at 2pm so he’ll get a chance to see how I live! 🙂

Yes, Rik was a dude and I loved ‘The Young Ones’ which achieved cult status! 🙂

Casey Casun is just one of four greats who died about the same time.

I guess none of us live forever, but they were all fantastic guys! 🙂

The skies are dull and cloudy again today with rain promised for Tuesday so in all a typical English summer. 🙂

Yes, winter for you and summer for us.

May you never see a British cold winter! 🙂

Good morning Prenin, your British cold weather sounds pretty dismal.
I can only judge your weather on what I see in movies,it must have been hard for everyone in the second world war.
Trying to cope with the weather and the war,but I do love the rural parts of England.

    June 15, 2014 at 4:00 pm

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Thanks for the visit and comment!!! 🙂

    Yes, it IS scary! 😦

Because of changes to the law the kids around here learned that they can – literally – get away with murder and if you fight back you are labelled a paedophile and get destroyed by the Police, Press and Media!!! 😦

Dennis Howarth tried to stop Jamie Ramplin and his mate stealing a car and they smashed his skull with a baseball bat and stabbed him repeatedly in the face with a screwdriver.

A decent married man with kids to support who died for doing something right.

I and my friends got the names of his killers to the Police inside two hours, but they only got two years because the prosecution couldn’t prove it wasn’t self defence. 😦

They were out in just over a year and free to kill again… 😦

Because I and my friends made such a dent in local crime, I was labelled a paedophile and destroyed by the local gangsters, which is why the investigative journalists offered me £60,000 compensation.

As time has passed I have learned that my God daughter’s family have set me up repeatedly over the past twenty years to keep ‘in’ with the gangsters, press and media so they don’t look too closely at their own criminal activities.

Apparently they work on the basis of: “Everybody is guilty of something” and control people by threatening to expose them, but what if you are guilty of nothing???

I have already had a mouthful of abuse off one of the gangsters because they were the men that my dad tried to prostitute me to when I was a kid, so the tables were rather dramatically turned on them when that fact came out!

The last set-up was with Mark in Wilkinsons when he was set in place next to the tea towels after I mentioned to one of my ‘friends’ in an email that I was going there to get some new ones.

Mark is bipolar and I can read him like a book! 😦

    What was the plan?

Get me to his place, get me drunk, then try and get a story out of me as he has already pretended to be a child abuser in church.

    It’s been tried before without success… 😦

Nowadays I avoid going out when the kids are around as they hunt in packs, supplied with booze and drugs which they pay for by stealing, if their parents don’t supply them themselves.

That stealing has included attacking adults in packs on their way home from the pub.

Some people, particularly Asian booze store owners, will supply anyone providing they have enough money and the trading standards people have shut down several stores for selling booze to underage kids…

Going off past experience I should be OK going to church tonight, but the next place for a set-up will be when I go to visit Pat to celebrate our birthdays and exchange gifts.

Right now everyone is telling me how wonderful I am and treating me as if my every orifice is solar powered.

But they’ve done that before only to set me up… 😦

Meanwhile I have to avoid the local kids and I get the shakes every time I walk out of my front door in case I run into trouble, because the Police will believe the kids before they believe somebody who has already been labelled even if they were completely exonerated.

    Shit sticks… 😦

Tonight was OK as I was able to get to the shop and back without incident, but that’s the first time I’ve been to the shop on a weekend in over two decades… 😦

On the medication front I’m taking it before bed so I don’t have the rampant hunger pangs, but there are no natural remedies I’m afraid. 😦

The early psychiatric treatment used to involve dietary needs and people were given special foods for their thoughts, so I have been interested in this, but there is no support and little information since they created the antipsychotic drugs they feed us by the bucket load. 😦

Such are the joys of paranoid schizophrenia… 😦

    God Bless my friend!!! 🙂

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Thanks for the visit and comments!!! 🙂

Yep: I’m over the moon that Angel and bubs came through it safe! 🙂

We knew it was going to be a difficult delivery because of her problems, so knowing she walked out of hospital in one piece with the baby was more than reason for me to celebrate!!! 🙂

The weather is miserable with showers expected today so I’m glad I’m staying home! 🙂

The meds are back in action so I’m oversleeping again, but I’m used to that. 🙂

Sounds like somebody is in for a nice surprise! 🙂

I dream of winning too, but the odds are against it! 🙂

Role Playing Games (RPG’s) are paper adventure games where you take on a character and the games master (usually David) creates an imaginary world and a scenario to play which the characters interact with.

It’s a pretty social pastime and a lot of fun, but NEVER play it with women!

They are so sick and twisted it is beyond belief and they soon ruin it! 😦

Thanks for the advice Ian! 🙂

During the work on my bathroom I drank less until the guys had finished and I had my loo back, then drank more afterwards.

It was odd how I was urinating more than they were, but I drink a lot of fluids as a rule, so maybe it was that.

As far as I am aware I’m OK physically, but I’ll keep your problems in mind! 🙂

Yep: Doug tried to beg food off me, but I didn’t fall for it as he still has £3,000 in his account.

Apparently he is drawing it all out because of the GameoveZeus malware as he has internet banking, so he’s looking at getting mugged! 🙂

Brentwoods are a homeless charity who look after people with no income and/or nowhere to live, providing drug treatment and food.

Doug is playing the penniless drunk to get them to give him free food. 😦

It would have been nice for the workmen to call, they have my phone number, but they didn’t… 😦

Yes the job has gone on for over two weeks now! 😦

The Foreman came this morning and told me he isn’t happy with the tiling work so it will have to be redone!!! 😦

My landlord split from the council a couple of years back and is now an independent company who are trying to upgrade all their properties, most of which were built in the 1950’s.

I have a few choice words to say on the matter, but it’d be a waste of breath… 😦

Doug is still knocking on my door when he needs help, but as long as he stays out of my hair… 😦

Have a good week my friend – and may you win soon!!! 🙂

    God Bless!

Thanks for the visit and comment! 🙂

The people at church were really concerned for me because I hadn’t been in a while and James the Pastor was worried for me because of the email I sent to him! 🙂

Nice to know people care, but walking through the door is going to be hard! 😦

There’s a session tonight at 6pm which I’ll be going to, so I’m stressing a little bit! 🙂

These people are literally the only local friends I have left because of all the persecution I’ve been through… 😦

Ironically I was too knackered to go because of the meds which are hitting me hard after not taking them for so long!!! 😦

I went to bed early, but only slept an hour because my joints acted up.

Andy then showed up – he wants to get his foot through the door again, but I know better than to trust him!!! 😦

Still: I slept until about 9,30am when the phone rang with a wrong number and was up at 10am because the workmen showed up!

The tiler is now in, so once he’s done that’ll be it and I’ll be signed off tomorrow!!! 🙂

Doug is sober and left me his key so I had access to a toilet as they’ve moved mine(again), but the bad news is he’s got access to a drug dealer, so I suppose we can forget about him getting the bus driver job… 😦

Between Andy and Doug, it sounds like a bit of a replay of an Abbott and Costello movie.
Keep your doors locked and dont get involved if you can mate, its a recipe for disaster.
Not a good idea to drop off your meds and restart again Prenin, your body tolerance changes, and you will find you need more to get the same effect that you did initially.
          Cheers

Andy is also an alcoholic, but he works for a living although he won’t look for a better job as he’s scared he’ll not make it, but he’s a glue mixer and the chemicals are not good for him! 😦

Andy sold me out 20 years ago and brought two women to my flat offering £60,000 compensation which I wouldn’t accept because I was severely delusional and thought the money came from kiddie porn and abuse.

Since then every time we’ve chatted he has reported the conversation to my tormentors, so I can only assume his suggestion that we get back together to play RPG’s is just a way to get back into my home… 😦

Doug is also playing games because our neighbour Gaz has given him a lead to a drug dealer, so now Doug is insisting that ‘Gaz’ is called ‘Dave’, who is the real tenant of the flat.

            I’m insane, not stupid! 🙂

Yeah the drugs are back working, so I’m stable again, but it has taken longer to get better on them. 😦

This is the longest I’ve been off them and I have to say it wasn’t fun, but knowing all the weird stuff was just in my mind made a big difference.

Now I’ve been taking them again, I’m much better, just sleeping for England! 🙂

            God Bless my friend! 🙂

    Second comment!!! 🙂

    I WISH!!! LoL!!! 😦

My toilet is in the hallway so I’m pissing in a milk bottle (with screw top) and waiting until they have nothing else to do before they refit it!!! 😦

Apparently it’ll be done today, but that could be up to 6.30pm and it’s 4.18pm right now… 😦

Another day and it’ll be finished apparently, so I’m booked in for Friday as Thursday is a shopping day… 🙂

Going off experience the job will be finished next week – if I’m lucky…

    God Bless!

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Thanks for the visit and comment!!! 🙂

Yes the bathroom is almost done – except they haven’t put my toilet back yet and I had to go to the compound and talk to the girl in the office who said they won’t be back until after 1pm!

My paperwork arrived from the Government about my benefits and I have the offer of professional help so I’m taking it! 🙂

Thankfully one of my friends, Paul, deals with this stuff all the time and he’s home about 1pm so I’m waiting for a phone call! 🙂

The depression is a side-effect of being screwed around with by the government – I’m cold scared they’ll screw with me like they did with Doug… 😦

    Hi Ian! 🙂

    Second comment!!! 🙂

It could take over a year to clean up the mess and the insurers are under pressure from the government to pay up promptly, while the army are surveying the flood defences for damage in five weeks – a job that normally takes two years!!! 🙂

Trouble is that the Environment Agency, who handle flood defences and river dredging, are supposed to cut 1,500 jobs – and Cameron is trying to bullshit his way out of trouble when the matter comes up… 😦

Some good news though: My utilities have been reduced from £81 per month to £42 per month so I bought a bottle of cheap whiskey to celebrate!!! 🙂

    Hi Ian! !:)

Thanks for the visit and comment! 🙂

Mostly it’s evacuated villagers in the Somerset Levels and coastal homes – we REALLY got our butts kicked!!! 😦

The numbers are constantly being revised and vary from report to report.

Over 10,000 had no utilities because of downed power lines etc. and we had four deaths directly due to the storms, so we got off lucky.

Trouble is the flooding is still a problem because of rising ground water and we’ve had several sink holes open up which were due to gypsum deposits being eroded.

No more deaths as a result, but they are talking of filling them with concrete to stabilise some homes and highways as one opened up under a house and another under a motorway!!! 😦

We have a lot of street homeless and more are being evicted because of Cameron’s bedroom tax, so the bed and breakfast places are running out of room.

Needless to say the disabled are suffering the most… 😦

    God Bless! 🙂

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Thanks for the visit and comment! 🙂

Yeah Doug is back and expects me to help him as I did before he sold me out to the local gangsters because I’m supposed to ‘respect’ him.

    Fat. Chance… 🙂

Yes the government is now talking about improving flood defences – after deciding 1,500 jobs should be cut by the environment agency who are in charge of flood defences and river dredging… 😦

They are now putting pressure on the insurers to pay up for peoples support and recovery, they even got invited to number 10 Downing Street to discuss rapid payments to the victims.

    I think that’s called ‘applying pressure’… 🙂

There is no doubt premiums will go up to the point of being unaffordable because the insurers cannot refuse to insure the affected properties.

More wriggling than a snake these people… 😦

    God Bless!

Andy is not very bright and he likes to play power games, so he’s loved being able to torment me as he’s essentially a very weak personality who delights in inflicting misery.

Trouble is that whenever he’s needed help I’ve been there for him and now he’s using that to exploit me.

He’s an alcoholic and I’m literally the only friend he has, so if I cast him loose he’ll have just his parents…

Thanks as always for the visit and comment!!! 🙂

Whatever it is, it isn’t flu – possibly strep given how it started at the back of my throat – but I’m feeling better today although I have no appetite yet! 😦

I can keep up the fluids OK, thank God for tea, but I can’t rest properly as my mind is motoring! 😦

I’ll go get more tickets tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed – any Jackpot win will do me, but A$100 Million certainly is the target to aim for! LoL!!! 🙂

Sore throat mate, definitely a dose of infection that most likely is strep, just going by my army medical days, loss of appetite but feeling hungry, probably a dose of the runs too, get some antibiotics into you, and try to find some green tea, best cure mate.
Make sure you get a couple of 18 year old nurses to attend to your every need 24/7 till you recover, make take a few years.

        Hi Ian! 🙂

The fluids were a big help and so far I’ve been constipated, which I put down to the cheese! 🙂

Momma Nature did her thing earlier and it was like crapping bricks! 🙂

I’m still feeling a bit feverish and cold so I jacked up the heating and I’m wearing my lounging pyjamas, but I’m not sweating.

The strepsils antiseptic lozenges took care of my throat and my appetite isn’t great, but I managed some cereal and a piece of red Leicester so I’m feeling a little uncomfortable, but otherwise OK.

To add to the fun we’re enjoying another stormy day so the wind is howling around the block, but I’m keeping warm! 🙂

I think I’m over the worst of the infection, but sleeping is going to be a problem as I had an hour on the couch.

Now all I have to do is get rid of the chesty cough and I’ll be fine! 🙂

I have some kick-ass mentholated cough medicine which does the trick! 🙂

Tomorrow I need to go to the shop for milk, lottery tickets and my Christmas bottle of whisky, so I’m hoping I’ll be a bit better by then.

Thank God for a good immune system! 🙂

The nurses would be nice though – maybe when I win the lottery!!! 😉

        God Bless dude! 🙂

            Hi Ian! 🙂

I’m feeling better, but it now feels more like flu than anything else.

My guess is I picked it up a couple of weeks back, but these things do go around… (sigh!)

Booze is really expensive over here mate – a bottle of cheap grog costs £13.95 for 70cl bottle (about a pint) and the good stuff can cost as much as £30 per 70cl bottle, presumably to stop us drinking too much!!! 😦

I can afford one bottle of the cheap stuff, so I’m going for that! 🙂

        Hi Ian! 🙂

Just checking my email before bed – it’s 12.17am here! 🙂

I waited in for the call, which if I missed would mean and automatic stop on my benefits, but it never came!

I phoned Kathryn and got Sharon who told me she’d had a family emergency and had, had to go home, so I have to wait in AGAIN in order to receive the call today!

If she doesn’t contact me I’ll lose my benefits even though I’m not the one at fault…

To add to the fun the electricians have been in Chris’s old flat rewiring the place so I got an early wake-up call as they needed to be let in, then most of the day they were using heavy machine tools to burrow into the walls so they could install the new wiring which made one hell of a racket and the vibrations brought down some of the ceiling plaster in the kitchen!!!

As a result I’m bloody tired, but in too much pain to sleep, so I’ve taken pain killers and hope to catch a few hours before they come back.

I also need to get lottery tickets and milk, so as soon as Kathryn’s phoned I’ll nip off to the Co-Op!

Thank God there’s no rain!!! 🙂

Hope you have a great week my friend! 🙂

It really must be frustrating waiting for the call, think positive and it may not be as bad as you think, they must surely give you warning on any changes to your benefits.
Hope the wiring and loud noises next door dont go on too longer, otherwise you will be exhausted by tomorrow.
Have a Horlicks mate and try to relax.

I got some sleep, they were back at 8.10am, but fortunately I woke naturally at 8am! 🙂

They are still working, but it’s a lot quieter! 🙂

The DHSS gave me a card which says: “If you don’t have a good reason for failing to attend a mandatory interview , your benefit may be affected.”

That translates as: “Be there or we WILL stop your Benefits!!!”

Given what they did to Doug I have no wish to be penalised…

Unfortunately with Kathryn not making the call yesterday my benefits are at risk… 😦

I phoned them and Sharon assured me my benefits are safe as it is them that has the problem.

Apparently I’ll get something through the post at some point. 🙂

Doug has been without for four weeks and has had no rent either, so he’s seriously screwed.

I gave him £10 because he was desperate, but I won’t give him any more.

He’s tried screwing with the system and now he’s seriously up sh*t creek.

    Hi Ian! 🙂

    Second comment!!! 🙂

The chemical weapons are under Assad’s control, so the rebels lack them.

The delivery systems are in Assad’s hands, the rebels lack them.

Surveillance satellites picked up rockets launched from government controlled areas into rebel controlled areas when the alleged gas attack occurred.

There have been sixteen reports of chemical weapon use so far and Assad’s chemical weapon forces were in the area for three days prior to the attack.

There has been a raft of video and still photo’s so far as well as independent witnesses including the staff of medical charities who treated the survivors, who exceeded 1,500.

Over 335 of whom died in hospital while being treated for suspected Sarin gas poisoning.

Now all we need are the results of the UN investigative team which will report shortly.

Meanwhile Assad blames the attack on the rebels and Uncle Vladimir tries to rubbish the claims that Assad was responsible.

When the truth becomes undeniable America will strike… 😦

Yeah Syria is a sticky fly trap – the more we get involved the harder it will be to get free!!!

Sounds like your PM is like ours.

Despite the resounding ‘NO!’ to war with Syria he’s still trying to find ways to get us involved!!! 😦

What gets me is that the rebels include al-Qa’ida terrorist organisations, who hate the West, who our government is supporting, who have killed other rebel leaders.

A civil war within a civil war!!! 😦

I agree that we should leave them to sort out their differences, but the USA is the biggest thug on the block and is trying to dictate policy in Syria while Assad is basically giving them the finger because he knows he has the support of Russia, China, Iran and even Hamas who are providing troops and weapons!!! 😦

Leave them long enough and they’ll drive themselves back to the Stone age!!! 😦

You virtually summed it up Prenin, a civil war within a civil war, our elections are coming up on Saturday and the leader of the opposition has been rubbished by the government for calling the war in Syria a case of baddies versus baddies, I agree, so who is right and who is wrong in Syria ? no Western countries should be supporting either side.

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Yes, it’s STILL messed up, but this time I had problems with blogs that were OK until today! 😦

I wish you all the best with the lottery Ian – maybe next time hey? 🙂

    I keep telling myself that… 🙂

Today I should be getting my PS3 back, but I’m waiting until Momma Nature has done her thing before going! 🙂

    At least it’s not raining… 🙂

    God Bless!

Greetings Prenin, hope your PS3 problems get resolved to your satisfaction.
A lottery win for me is as scarce as rocking horse shit.
Spoke to WordPress and as far as they are concerned all my emails are being sent from WordPress, looking at another angle I need to follow up, I noticed a sharp rise in notifications to Askimet from the time my troubles started, went to my stats site but cant find anywhere to check out specifically what spams/hams Askimet has blocked, not even sure if Askimet is part of WordPress or a filtering system on my computer.
Perseverance is the only thing I can do at the moment.
Cheers and have a beaut weekend.

My PS3 is back in the shop – they seriously screwed it up when they supposedly fixed it.

No idea what’ll come next, but my guess is that I buy a new one. 😦

        Akimset is part of WordPress.

Look for the number of comments blocked – if I remember correctly it’s on your admin page – and is highlighted in blue.

I suspect of you click on that it SHOULD (I’m guessing here!) show you the comments that were blocked.

Or it would if I wrote the program! 🙂

Hope you have a great weekend! 🙂

Checked out your tip Prenin with Askimet, clicking on the highlighted part does not let you see what has been blocked, have discussed the matter with the Askimet people and , like WordPress, seem to think its something to do with my Outlook page where I receive emails.
          Not to worry.

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Thanks as always for the visit and comment! 🙂

The temperature is now 26.5’C outside ant 27.8’C inside, but the skies are clouding over and we’ve been promised thunderstorms, so from past experience I would say we can expect it to ramp up the humidity! 🙂

I have a portable fan I use in hot weather which moves around a lot, but I really need two of them so this winter I’m going to buy a good one, probably a Dyson, and next year I’ll be ready! 🙂

A/C is a dream for me dude – but I have nowhere to put it! 🙂

High 40’s would be hell to me Ian: 36’C a few years back killed over 5,000 elderly and vulnerable people in the UK and a lot more in Europe because we simply were not prepared for it.

Today the highest temperature within the UK has been 32’C so far and it’s 2.12pm so it’s not over yet! 😦

Keep warm my friend and have a great weekend! 🙂

    God Bless!

    Yes, I agree about Brady.

Unfortunately we don’t have the death penalty otherwise he and Myra Hindley, his g/f and partner in crime, would have done the short drop and saved this country millions in caring and feeding these evil people! 😦

However he is 75 years old, a controlling egomaniac and helpless because they won’t let him take control of his own life.

God willing he’ll remain at Ashworth secure hospital until he dies.

Yes, it looked like a good idea, but the material is too thin and you’d be better off with a sleeping bag I think! 😦

When I bought it, it looked like a great idea, but now I use it as a cover when I’m lying on the couch listening to the iPlayer.

My place is well insulated, but being a flat the floor is pretty cold because the T&RA base is empty most days and nights, so I wear thick socks most of the time.

Heating via electricity is the most expensive way to heat a home!!! 😦

Yep: It’s kind of weird because they act totally out of character and I’m supposed to respond to that!!! 😦

Next contact point will be Pat and my celebration of our birthdays as Pat is 21 again on the 10th of July and I’m 53 on the 6th.

They set me up last year with baby William, but there’s no way I’d hurt a child, so it fell flat! 🙂

Unfortunately the family has a lot of criminality in their lives, so they have to take part or face exposure.

Dominic and Warren both did time for drug dealing so I don’t ask what they’re up to these days…

I could have done without the visit from Doug.

He’s getting deeper in debt and is in danger of losing his home because of it.

    Thanks for popping by! 🙂

Yes, it has reached the point where people are being attacked in the street and where verbal abuse from the mouthy one at the back of the group is commonplace! 😦

Now things are changing and it is them who are living in fear, hence the reaction to a former target… 😦

Lee Rigby’s death has sparked right wing protests, the Engand Defence League marching in several places and small anti fascist demonstrations have also sprung up! 😦

Yes, the electronic cigarette contains just nicotine and gives off water vapour instead of smoke when you use it.

They are EXPENSIVE though for what they are, hence Doug’s need for me to fix it for him.

As time goes by they’ll get cheaper and it’s a good alternative to tobacco as they are less damaging.

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Thanks as always for the visit and comments! 🙂

Yes, the Boston manhunt is over, but the authorities won’t quit until they have all the answers.

Maggie stripped the country of its nationalised industries and set out to break the coal mining unions, an act at which she succeeded in leaving many communities gutted.

On the day of her funeral she was burned in effigy and many celebrations were held.

‘Ding Dong the Witch is Dead’ went to number two in the charts, but wasn’t played in full by BBC radio one, but they DID play in full a song praising Maggie.

Tell me that wasn’t politically motivated…

There are many of us here in the UK who suffered because of her policies, me among them, but the one good thing I think we should remember is how she stood up to Argentina in the Falklands war.

We shouldn’t have won, but we did…

    Second comment! 🙂

Yes, it looks like you have a good idea there!

Unfortunately it is, indeed, too late for the UK to follow Canada’s lead.

We can’t even get rid of the criminals because the Human Rights lobby won’t allow them to be sent back to their homelands in case their human rights are breached!

We have one here in the UK who needs shipping back to Jordan as a terrorist, but the EU court of human rights won’t allow for him to be sent!!! 😦

The Tory’s response is to begin the process of withdrawing from the court of human rights and the EU.

It’ll be interesting to see if they succeed…

    Third comment!

I’ve no idea how the DHSS will see me, but it’s a private firm doing the vetting, not a psychiatrist, so I’ll most likely be screwed on day one.

First though I have to get the form filled in.

    NOT an easy task…

The mother of the three boys has been charged and is on her way to prison too.

Apparently all four of her sons are now in prison.

From the reports, it looks like she tried to provide a false alibi for her son and was found guilty herself even though the Police had them on video when she said they were elsewhere…

Unfortunately the reports didn’t include her excuses for her actions.

I’m just glad she’s doing time for what she did.

    God Bless!

Yes, Doug is still on the scene unfortunately and is now preying on Tony.

He told Tony I was a paedophile, but Tony got the full story from me so that was sorted out!

Half a truth is worse than a lie…

Doug also told me Tony had been given a large amount of heroin, presumably in an effort to get me to report Tony to the Police, but I’m wise to Doug’s games…

I don’t know what will happen with the evaluation.

First I will be phoned and assessed over the phone, then they’ll send me a form, then when they get that back I’ll be sent for an assessment, presumably with a medically trained person, though there is some doubt as to this!

One way or another they are determined to get as many people off benefits as possible even though there are no jobs available for the fit and healthy! 😦

All I can do is endure it and see what happens next…

I guess I can’t help worrying: I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with the DHSS.

Yeah looks like a rerun of an old MASH series.

People are laughing at the current North Korean Leader’s hair style, but it’s the unbelievable threats he’s issuing that has me worried: Sooner or later he’s going to have to back them up…

Now that the Americans have moved two destroyers and a radar surveillance ship into the area as well as doing exercises in South Korea it looks like it’s a case of which one blinks first.

China needs to sit on the DPRK and teach them some manners before things get out of hand.

Of all the nations on the planet the DPRK depends on China the most and is most likely to listen to them rather than the rest of the Western Nations…

I think it will escalate Prenin for the simple reason , the asian people have a thing about losing face and with the western world not taking their threats as serious as they want, they are liable to act irrationally and make a bad call.
This time it wont be a drawn out war like in 1953.
Personally I would like to see it start , not to have China intervene though, purely to unite the North and South and end the dictatorship that is crippling the North Korean people.

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Yes, the ball is beginning to roll, but slooooowly! LoL!!! 🙂

I have a third manuscript awaiting the Red treatment and I am thinking about the fourth, but it’s going to be at least a year before I make a decent living out of them.

Meantime I’m OK and in no great need, although money is tight! 🙂

Yesterday I was told that Doug had sold me to the Ward gangster family who have it in for me because I wouldn’t break into a sweat every time their name was mentioned and because I and a few others made a nasty dent in the local crime situation until the Police screwed everything up and killed the Golden Goose.

They claim to ‘own’ Middleton as their own personal fiefdom, but are mostly relying on their families reputation in the 60’s when they committed many acts of evil including child prostitution, child pornography and blackmailed their clients.

They were the ones my dad tried to sell me to when I was small.

Needless to say they have been prosecuted for multiple murders, rapes and run a protection racket.

Unfortunately they couldn’t touch me directly, so they have sold me to the investigative journalists and Doug helped them, which explains his ‘why aren’t you guarding my flat?’ episode.

Unfortunately that also implicates my God daughter’s family… 😦

Now I have seen actions in church which lead me to believe yet another friend is taking part, in this case Mark who used to be my neighbour.

They insist on using everyone I have any contact with to get to me, but to no avail because what they are looking for isn’t there.

Still they insist on trying, which is rather irritating given they’ve been trying for eighteen years now…

Slowly, but surely, they are stripping my life of everything in their efforts to get to me, leaving me with no close friends or family to trust.

    And it’s all for nothing… 😦

    God Bless!

    Prenin.

Seems you are carrying too much ancient baggage mate, it must be obvious even to you that to even achnowledge Doug;s existence is draining you both physically and mentally, you must know by now that to progress in life now , even as a writer, you need to eradicate the negativity from your past and move on into a different life, seems to me you are trapped in a time warp and can never move on till the past is faced and exterminated, just my thoughts mate.
      Cheers.

And a valid thought it is! 🙂

These no-hoper’s live in a fantasy world so I should be able to ignore them, but the journalists keep coming back in an effort to get me to say or do the unthinkable.

All I can do is wait until I run out of friends, or they run out of money… 😦

    Hi Ian! 🙂

One thing you can say for Doug is that he keeps life ‘interesting’! LoL!!!

I managed to get my PC back up and working after a major Microsoft related crash, but I’m not going to be messing with my PC any more! 🙂

Having Skype eating up memory in the first place isn’t fun and Outlook also eats memory, as does the new Real Player, so I can only have two of them running at any time!

I have yet to use Skype, so I may just uninstall it and do without…

Hope you get photobucket fixed – anything to do with web resources seems to get to be problematic these days…

    God Bless!

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Thanks as always for the visit and comment! 🙂

The temperature is hovering around -1’C at the moment and we have powder snow coming down pretty hard so tomorrow the roads will be fun – and I have to go get my meds today when I get up as it is 2.02am and I’m wide awake…

The pipes seem to be holding up so far, but the T&RA base has no radiator in the kitchen as it was removed by Bob Cockin when he lived there, so if they’ve left the kitchen door closed the pipes will freeze for sure…

Hope things cool down for you soon dude, the news have been showing the fires in Victoria and New South Wales and they’ve been saying that there are hundreds of fires.

Stay cool, stay safe and God Bless!

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Yes the Golden Bird appears to have made an appearance! 🙂

It’s early days yet, but the very fact I have reached the milestone of having people BUY my book has to be the high point of a very promising New Year! 🙂

God knows what’ll happen next – I’m both delighted and terrified!!! LoL!!! 🙂

I thought it would take a year to reach this point and yet already it is happening… 🙂

Some Doug news: He’s got tobacco and cigarette papers, but tried to tap me for drinking money as he was getting stressed with having to deal with his DHSS paperwork and phone calls.

    Needless to say I refused!

He’s got £28 coming to his account at about 4pm and he needs to take a copy of his sick note in to the Job Centre so they can fax it through and clear his sick pay which he’ll get in three days.

Apparently he sent his paperwork in the wrong envelope so it went to the wrong place – and that means the DHSS office he sent it to just tossed it in the bin.

He has given me his TV manual so I can explain to him how to use it as he needs to sort out the Channels as we’re now Digital over here and Doug can’t find his ass without a guide dog and a white stick…

Stay cool my friend: It is 4’C here and we’ve had a lot of snow which is already melting.

Tonight the roads will be icy and VERY dangerous…

Greetings Prenin, this year is certainly shaping up to be a life changing time for you.
Maybe its time to get a few copies for yourself and start putting them on the shelves in various shops to see how well they sell.
I mean direct them to the impulsive buyer as opposed to people with access to the computer.
Maybe think about having a book launch and a book signing session in one of the popular malls.
Anyway its full steam ahead for you my friend.

        That’ll come Ian! 🙂

Red is playing the game carefully: Ebooks first, then printed books later! 🙂

As soon as they come out in print I’ll buy a dozen to give to friends.

The biggest problem then is postage – it’s pretty expensive over here since they privatised the Royal Mail and sold off the profitable parts…

The good news is that it is happening in the USA so there’s a lot of potential readers out there! 🙂

All we can do is take one step at a time and see what happens! 🙂

    Just caught your comment! 🙂

I think I pissed off a Chinese God given I’m stuck with Doug until he goes to jail! 🙂

He’s got £30 to live on for a week and is cheating the Gas supplier as I write with a bogus gas card for his meter because he’s got no heat apart from an electric halogen heater which eats 800 Watts.

I don’t know if this a test of my humanity or a test of my patience! LoL!!!

He can take out one more crisis loan and then he’ll be on his own until his sick pay comes through, then after that he’ll have nothing for a year.

He’s a total control freak and this is riding him hard to not be able to call the shots, hence the mix of criminal and suicidal threats he keeps coming out with.

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Just caught your second comment! 🙂

Yeah, I’m happy for no snow given the cost of heating these days, but the rain has been a killer this winter!!! 😦

Hope the heat stress isn’t too bad: Forty seven degrees Centigrade is a killer!!! 😦

I can’t wait to see the photograph of the frying egg!!! 🙂

Please take it easy my friend – here in the UK 35’C killed around 5,000 people a few years back and they were using refrigerated meat trucks to store the bodies because they ran out of room in the mortuary!

    I cannot imagine living at 47’C – it’s almost beyond comprehension…

Oh I’m not depressed – just a bit cold!!! 🙂

I’ve had to lower the heating temperature to save on gas as the prices went up 9% in November, so the place is slow to warm and I’ve been living in one room most of the time to keep warm.

When Winter arrives for real I’ll have to turn the heat up, but for now it is 21’C in my bedroom and I’m feeling a bit of a cold draught, so I’m dressed instead of wandering around in my boxers! 🙂

Have a great New Year my friend and stay cool! LoL!!! 🙂

    Hi Ian! 🙂

    Just caught your comment!!! 🙂

It was a quiet Christmas really because I was sleeping funny hours, but I was very much missed which is a good thing! 🙂

Doug will not be with us much longer.

He’s planning a massive attack on the Job Centre so he can be put in jail and go into solitary where he will be fed, watered and have a roof over his head without having to pay for it! 🙂

Man of Big Plans isn’t he – apart from yet more threats and plans on how to kill himself!

Apparently his doctor believes he has possible Liver Cancer – but then that’s from Doug, so I’m taking it with a pinch of salt as he’s not got yellow eyeballs yet!!!

I’m being careful food wise and not overdoing it – I had a glass of brandy at Pat’s and it hurt like hell! 😦

No problems with anything else and I’ve had a glass of JD yesterday with no pain involved, so I guess it was a one-off…

Hope you have a great New Year too my friend – any improvements will be appreciated I think! 🙂

Don’t know what he’s going to do when the money runs out as he’s basically shot himself in the foot where the DHSS is concerned.

With no rent being paid he faces certain eviction and I have no plans to take him in… 😦

Title it something like, The lonely Life of a Loser, you would have a wealth of material to put in it, from drugs to alcohol and every seedy sordid bit in between, you would have a best seller, maybe even call it, Expose of the Welfare System, or What makes the Welfare System.

You have a good idea there! 🙂

Doug is trying to buck the system and is getting right royally fucked by the system instead.

Basically he’s a control freak who doesn’t want to work and is trying to work his ticket, but the system won’t let him.

He’s going steadily downhill and his future is grim.

I still remember when he wanted me to film him and his ex-girlfriend having sex so he could sell it to a porn firm he knows.

Thanks for the visit as always! 🙂

Yes, it WAS rather a strange non-event wasn’t it?

Trouble is that people like that will continue to try and bleed us dry at all costs because they know nothing but money and power.

Hope you get sorted Ian! 🙂

Merry Christmas my friend and God Bless!

Getting to old to be hanging by my balls for these predictions to come true.

    Hi Ian! 🙂

    Just got your email! 🙂

    I agree!!! 🙂

Do you think I can apply for a late abortion??? 🙂

Yeah the end of the world has been put off for another year – one day it’ll happen, but we won’t be around to worry about it! 😉

My credit card is kept paid off as I only use it for internet shopping and big ticket goods! 🙂

Been in debt – NEVER again!!! 😦

Hmmm.. possibly my insides were worried… 🙂

You know they never played ‘Its the End of The World as we Know it’ on the radio which is a shame as it’s a good track! 🙂

Personally mate I have had a gut full of doomsday predictions, the second or third or bloody fourth coming of the Lord and all the idiotic cults around the world , particularly the American idiots, notice they never advertise their guns or property or goods to give away, nah , the idiots hedge their bets and wait to see, at the same time dont realize they aqre missing out on life and brainwashing their idiot offsprings.
Dont get an abortion mate, hold onto Doug, the idiot you know is better than the idiot you dont know, hehe.

I agree: Doomsday cults come, commit suicide, or rationalise the fact that the world DIDN’T end as predicted and go on.

I agree about them hedging their bets – you’ll notice the leaders seem to all be better off unless they and their group committed suicide…

I guess people need certainty in their lives and I agree about their idiot offspring – the Mormons train them as preachers and send them out to spread the word, which is a total lie!!! 🙂

I agree about Doug, but sometimes you have to walk away.

I’m praying for another ex-teacher like Mrs. Stephenson was.

Well I went with the roll and thought the world would end and we were all fucked.
Phone call this morning from the bank manager wanting an appointment to discuss my doomsday forecast and my credit card.
Seems the old Emu’s doomsday and end of the world will occur next week.

    Yeah I think you’re right. 🙂

I won’t have to worry much though: He’s got no income, no housing benefit and a month to wait for his sick pay to come through and he’s talking about breaking the law so he gets locked away where he’ll be warm and fed!

    That and suicide, naturally…:(

What gets me is that he treated me like shit and now expects me to support him – he sure has a short memory…

    Hi Ian! 🙂

    Just spotted your comment! 🙂

I think it was something I ate, but no idea what! 😦

My insides are improving, but I’m still crapping like a cow with the shits. I mentioned this to Frank on the way to the Co-Op this morning and he suggested it may be Norovirus.

We get it a lot over here in winter and it’s known as the winter vomiting bug, but I haven’t thrown up yet, just felt ill and was crapping like there was no tomorrow!

Given my stringent hand washing and sterilising of everything I use to eat with I should have it knocked on the head by Thursday as it comes and goes quickly.

Meantime I have to avoid passing it on… 😦

Hope life is treating you well!!! 🙂

    Hi Ian! 🙂

    Just caught your comment!!! 🙂

I hope the American Police take care of the loony with the fire power BEFORE he makes good his threat! 😦

Americans NEED guns because there are so many people owning guns out there and they feel safer if they are able to shoot back.

Keeping guns out of criminal hands is hard – here in the UK we have folks hiring out guns to criminals – despite the change to the gun laws after Dunblane, so I can see how a country awash with guns leaves people with no other choice but to arm themselves…

It looks like the only choice Americans will have is to train teachers to use guns, or staff schools with armed security guards.

Neither of which is a good option…

    God Bless my friend!

Think you are right Prenin, when a country is awash with guns it causes a domino effect.
The more guns roaming free means the need for more protection, a never ending cycle
I think the Americans and a lot of other countries need to break the cycle.

Agree completely Prenin in regards to Capital punishment, in the old days mistakes were made with capital punishment but with DNA and todays technology these mistakes can be overcome, personally I advocate that any person not born in the country they reside in or do have residency in, who commit a crime, be deported, not only them but all their family, basically the zero tolerance policy that Canada has that deters and eradicates all non born residents from committing crimes in their adopted country, including their families.
This would solve most western countries from their muslim and intergration problems.
          Just my thoughts

            December 18, 2012 at 1:01 pm

We have that here in the UK, but deporting criminals and their families has to go through all kinds of hoops, like for instance we have a guy who is going through the court of human rights who have said he can’t be deported to Jordan because they can’t be sure evidence gained under torture won’t be used in his trial.

He’s free and laughing at the system that he’s tried to destroy… 😦

We have THOUSANDS of criminals who have vanished into the population before they could be put through the deportation process that the appropriate department has been unable to find.

            Why?

Because holding them in prison until their paperwork was processed was against their human rights…

All it’ll take to kick the government into action is a direct attack on parliament, but until then all we can do is wait for the inevitable.

            God Bless my friend! 🙂

Wish we had the Canadian policy of one mistake …out, including the family, integration does not work , here they are actually trying to assimilate, not only the refugee but their family into the community on a temporary visa, our government is now actually paying immigrants and their family $20,000 to accept a temporary visa, this is all due to the misplaces idea that it will stop the flow of refugees into our country.
We have had over 30,000 illegal immigrants come into our country via boats, they all go to Christmas island for assessing as to their status as refugees, only 700 have been sent back to their country.
Australia is headlong heading down the path of England and America.

I agree about the difference in weather! 🙂

I bought two umbrellas, decent ones, so I have a spare in case the wind ruins one of them.

I like cool weather, but this is cold, wet and windy weather we’re having so I am feeling it! 🙂

Doug visited about half an hour ago to beg £10 off me for electricity and a loaf of bread.

His sick pay has been granted and he’s getting a month’s worth of money, so he’ll get that on Monday.

Meantime he’ll be living on bread and butter to get through the next few days.

He hasn’t bathed in a month and pongs somewhat, but once he has the money he’ll buy a halogen heater (£16.98) and have decent heating for the next few months.

G,day mate, from my research I have been informed that writing the story is easy
what is time consuming is as you say rewrites and corrections.
Keep it in your mind that it was fun writing but now go the whole distance and persevere to its fruition

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Yes a little bit of luck goes a loooong way! 🙂

The Meteorite was seen across most of the UK and there were a number of videos on the news of it breaking up, but it is suspected to be space junk.

    Still: Quite a sight!!! 🙂

The weekend has been spent burning the midnight oil as I’m sleeping funny hours again.

The weather is going to be very nasty over the next few days, so I guess we can say that we didn’t get a Summer this year… 😦

Soon it’ll be time to put the clocks back…

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Thanks for the visit and comment! 🙂

I had a lot to do over the past few days and I admit to getting panicky if things are not going well! 🙂

It’s 4.15am here and I’m just checking my email before bed. 🙂

Mary checked my blood pressure (120 over 80 – Not Good) and made me an appointment for fasting bloods on the sixteenth of next month.

If I fail those, despite my ‘constantly hungry’ diet, then I’ll be put on statins which will make it even harder to lose weight!

I was so stressed out Friday I didn’t have a sandwich until 8.09pm because I felt like I was going to chunder at any minute! 🙂

I’m feeling better, but now I can’t sleep so I’m off to bed and try to relax.

We’ve been promised a sunny day later, but a cold one, and I was lucky enough to see a meteorite fall earlier although I forgot to make a wish… 🙂

    God Bless my friend! 🙂

Stressing too much I think old mate, thats probably not helping your blood pressure at all, you really do need to take a long break and step back a bit and let everything just flow, seems like stress and hunger go hand in hand with you, you do really need to have a long break Prenin.
Either way I wish you well in your life and aspirations.

Hi Sue , thanks for visiting , our last walkabout was not too bad, no it was a bloody disaster, finally got a pic of me and the three grandkids in Adelaide but the pics turned out shithouse, so still haven’t got a decent pic, to top it off the weather was bloody freezing and we returned home, half way home got pulled over by two beautiful female cops who decided to give me a warning for driving over the limit, got home with Ana having a great dose of Flu , she starts to recover and I go down with the same, ah well such is life , thats why I am a bit late on blogs lately.
Trying to think of a poem about two beautiful female cops but dont dare bring on the ire of Ana

Mate with my military background I can assure you that these events are planned at least ten years in advance, imagine the rehearsals that each and every part or participants have to go through , much like the military tattoo, prepared years in advance , even down to the roles that security play and its all coordinated from one central area, think the same scenario occurs for the pope and his tours as well

I don’t use insect spray unless it is a wasp or similar stinging/biting insect in which case IT DIES! LoL!!!

Spiders are such useful little creatures and we have no biters here in the North West, but the false black widow spider now has a stronghold in the South of the UK.

No surprise if I tell you it’s an invasive species brought over from the continent…

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Yeah North Korea is a disaster waiting to happen: Soon they’ll have a nuclear armed missile and then they’ll start threatening to whole world! 😦

A broken country, impoverished, beaten and starving with their leaders raised to the level of Gods and a massive army where everything they’ve got goes to feeding an unproductive mass – either the country will collapse and become a failed state, or they’ll get their nuclear missile and blackmail the world into feeding them.

The fact that food aid was on offer until they launched their defective joke of a missile, claiming it was to put a satellite in orbit, has led to them losing the handout they needed so badly.

People are going to die of starvation and it’s all the fault of their power mad leaders…

The possibility of getting published was due to random chance – a simple comment to Red that I had a story partly written has led to where I am now.

If I DO manage to get published I’ll see what I can learn, but right now I know bollocks all so I am at times ecstatic and at others sweating in sheer panic! 🙂

All I do know is that the learning curve is steep and I’m just playing the part of a Swan – sailing serenely above the waterline and paddling like mad underneath! 🙂

I have to admit that this is all new to me, but I’ll see it through to the end – it’s just another great adventure… 🙂

One of our female bloggers – Nikki or Tracey, I can’t remember which – suggested giving my dad a copy and rub his nose in the fact that he wrote in his divorce deposition that I was mentally retarded and destroyed my first manuscript! 🙂

    March 17, 2012 at 9:07 am

    I agree Ian!

I was an abused child and I know from harsh experience just what abuse is, but these do-gooders have turned everything on its head!

These kids are treated like butter wouldn’t melt in their mouths while ANYONE who crosses them gets their lives destroyed either physically or legally!

I am CRB checked: Cleared to work with the elderly, the disabled, vulnerable adults and children, but I have to be rechecked every three years to work as a volunteer.

If someone makes an allegation against me – even if it is disproved – it goes on my permanent record and that allegation would be enough to cost me my rating and I would never be allowed to work with children ever again – as has happened to a lot of teachers whose career has been ruined by malicious allegations.

Meanwhile these kids have easy access to alcohol from Muslim-owned stores in the area – one even sold the kids their booze in unmarked bags to stop it being traced back to him, so we’re not talking older kids bluffing the storekeeper into selling them booze!

Some local shops have been closed down for illegal trading, but these kids sometimes get their booze off smugglers and even their parents who buy it to get rid of the kids for the night!

To make matters worse drugs are freely available, from Skunk Cannabis (A class ‘A’ drug akin to heroin) to crack cocaine, these kids use the stuff and just get worse and worse in behavior.

One of our worst families, the Mallinsons, were career criminals whose mother had no control over them.

They made my life hell for two and a half years, breaking my windows frequently until they moved on to dealing drugs as part of a local gang.

They are now being treated for drug addiction and are under the eye of one of my friends who has warned the drug rehabilitation team just what they are dealing with!

Thankfully the Police are getting better at dealing with malicious allegations, but they DO still give out formal cautions.

If you accept a caution thinking it is just a warning you’d be wrong.

In the eyes of the law it is an admission of guilt and you lose your CRB rating as a consequence..

EVERYTHING is set against you and these kids can get away – literally – with murder, so the streets have become a VERY dangerous place, some people even being driven from their homes for complaining about the noise, mess and vandalism.

As chair of the Tenants and Residents Association I have heard many such stories and it burns my butt that the Police expect the public to do their investigating for them and provide the evidence before the Police are willing to prosecute.

As I was told by a Police Officer after my windows were smashed the first time.

So far I have been verbally abused, threatened, terrorised, held at knife point, held at gunpoint and had my windows smashed on a weekly basis, but the teenagers who did this NEVER faced a court.

So much for everyone being equal in the eyes of the law…

    God Bless!

    Prenin.

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Thanks for the visit and comment! 🙂

Yeah the news from Rochdale was bad enough, but vigilantes are now targeting the businesses which are now owned by those who had no part in these crimes, however they are becoming targets for violence and disorder because they are Asian like the men who perpetrated the crimes against the children.

What worries me is that it may spill over into attacks on Asian taxi drivers – because some of these alleged offenders were taxi drivers…

All I can do is pray that the Police can keep a lid on the problem and put an end to the violence before somebody who had no part in these crimes gets injured or killed.

    HI Ian!

I think i’ve found the cause of the heart problem – I’ve been drinking Robinsons fruit cordials and they are basically a chemistry set in a bottle including large amounts of Aspartame which already has a bad press!

As soon as I put two and two together I stopped drinking it.

It’ll take a couple of days to get it out of my system, but if I improve then I’ll know what could be the root cause of my heart problem.

Dear Lord what CRAP they sell these days…

    God Bless!

Hi Androgoth , haven’t been around much lately and you are right
I am taking a break for a while to work out where I am on wordpress
Seems I follow a lot of spaces and make comments but my efforts aren’t reciprocated
So I end up spending a lot of wasted time on supporting others blogs with reading and commenting
and they dont seem to have the decency to reply or respond or visit my space
I notice a trend setting in where people are blogging and running on the amount of likes and comments they get
yet dont follow the person commenting , same old system I saw in spaces where people collected friends for the sake of numbers
Anyway will catch ya around tha traps after I work it all out
      Cheers

Apart from his last visit I haven’t seen anything of Doug and the local grapevine is silent when it comes to the Wards, but I guess the press and media will report on events as they pass.

One thing I DO know is that Aaron and his brother are going to be spending a great deal of time in prison, where so many of their relatives have gone before…

    hi Ian! 🙂

Haggis is a much better dish – full of good stuff, but people who haven’t tasted find its contents revolting – personally I love it, but it is too much for just one person.

Black pudding is a smaller affair made with dried pigs blood and various cereals made to a secret recipe, the finest of which are Bury black puddings which I always ask for! 😛

I prefer tripe with black pepper and vinegar, but tastes as good your way! 😛

Yes, pickled pigs trotters are good, but an acquired taste, however lamb and bacon are also tasty! 🙂

God bless and bon appetite!!! 🙂

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Doug is a mess mentally, but he’s all mouth and no trousers – add to that he’s a bully and coward who tried to intimidate me (He’s no threat, he’s a gutless weakling) by trying to make out he was a Big Bad Gangster because he was involved with the Ward gangster family.

I had a lot of dealings with them when they sold me to the press and media, so they don’t bother me as they are trying to live off the family reputation and aren’t making it.

When that failed Doug started using me as an audience for his murder and suicide fantasies, but so far he’s made no attempt to do either, preferring to try and get my sympathy by threatening to cut his throat in front of me ‘Because I can take it’.

Now I’ve cut him off he’s gone silent again, so I guess he’ll wait a week and try again.

He has been trying to get me to wait on him hand and foot because I told him how I looked after Darrell when he had his stroke, so he’s been playing the sick cripple again, but this time I didn’t fall for it! 🙂

If anything else happens I’ll post it, but I’ve heard nothing from him yesterday and I hope for the same today! 🙂

    God Bless!

    Hi Ian! 🙂

The NHS is State run, but the price of medicines are spiralling so the doctors try to manage their budgets by using cheaper alternatives.

Now the Government is trying to sell off the NHS and get it run privately, even removing the home secretaries requirement to be hands on.

If it goes through then the private medical firms will eat up the profitable parts of the NHS and we’ll be left with what’s left…

Once upon a time it was supply at the point of need – God knows what it is going to become…

Unfortunately my illness is stress related – the more stressed I get the worse I get – but the doctor won’t let me change my meds to something with fewer side-effects because the only other drug I can use is £25,000 per year while the one I’m on at the moment (Olanzapine) is £5,000 per year.

As I’m writing this Doug is shoving yet another note through my door – that’s hassle I don’t need!

    Hi Ian!

Yes, I agree, but the withdrawal from the meds is worse than the illness.

To make matters worse they promised to deliver my meds TODAY before 5.30pm and it is now 6.20pm.

I have enough sleeping pills, but I took four times the dose Wednesday and just got a few hours, so I dare not increase the dose any further and thanks to the missed delivery I now have to get through the weekend without any Olanzapine.

Quite a challenge I think, but I have managed ten days without and I’m still here…

Thanks Ian – they left me a full week without meds, just the three pills from my emergency stash, and I had to miss a dose Wednesday, then when they assured me my stuff would be ready to be picked up Friday I took the last one to even out my withdrawal.

This is the second time in two months that they’ve done this and it looks like they are trying to marry up my prescriptions with what the computer says.

I’m crapping bricks, but I AM going to make my feelings known!!! 😦

    God bless my friend! 🙂

The meds dont control your life Ian, all they do is control your moods

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Yes email IS wonderful and it’s putting the Royal Mail out of business!!!

Right now the Governement has finished stripping away the loss making sub post offices and is now reducing the work force ready to sell it to the highest bidder.

Needless to say a lot of people are afraid for their futures, but there’s bugger all they can do because tens of thousands are losing their jobs as the Government cut-backs bite.

I am on benefits and classed as unable to work, but I too face cuts to my income as they are reducing the pay rise we were due to get in April to save £4bn per year.

This depression is set to get worse if Greece defaults and if they do they’ll take down most of Europe with them and the UK will also take a critical hit because of the Greek debt the Banks are exposed to…

Apart from that life here is rosey!!!

    Oh to win the lottery…

    God Bless!

I think there is a financial depression all around the world at the moment , some countries are doing it harder than others , especially the European countries , we are not too bad here mate as we come under the Asia/Pacific banner , but still have financial restraints , give you a race to see who wins the lottery first
      Have a great weekend mate

    Hi Ian! 🙂

Yep: Doug has his moments – usually when he’s sober – but his life is getting better so he’s feeling a bit more positive and I’m praying he gets the electricians course because all he needs is the paperwork to prove he can do the job.

He’s now off the booze and sleeping 8 hours per day, has lost the joint pain and is smoking like a chimney, but he plans to give up once he’s over the booze withdrawal.

Right now all I’m bothered about is him relying on me to keep going until he gets a job!

Pears are not so much expensive (It depends on where you buy them) it’s the way the folks who sell them mix rotten fruit with the good stuff so you end up throwing half of it away!!!

    God Bless my friend!

The good news is I’m feeling a lot better and I’ve had no episodes for a few days now! 🙂

Yes, the weather is weird – it is now 12.9’C and bright sunshine and we’re expecting rain either tonight or tomorrow, but how much is anyones guess…

With you on the beer mate – I went to hospital for a heart check today and came out OK, but need to make more checks so they are going to wire me up for 24 hours and record my heart’s activity using a gadget I will wear through my day!

They think I have Atypical Ayrrthmia (f*ck knows how to spell it!), but won’t be sure until the results are in, however my heart is OK and blood pressure nominal, so I won’t just drop dead!

Cant stand the mentality of muslims , seems the western world is having trouble comprehending the mentality of a race of people who hide their woman behind veils and have a predeliction for young boys and live in a world of medeival retribution and revenge , these people are centuries behind being integrated into the world as we know it , they have not evolved in their mentality , they need to be subjugated and reeducated , much like training animals , although animals learn faster than feral muslims

As has been said many times by many others, it’s all about the OIL…

In Libya the West saw which way the wind was blowing and backed a side who would be suitably grateful for their assistance.

Gadaffi was a Bastard of the first water who supported terrorism acrss the Wester World and committed atrocities against his own people – now he’s in a refrigerated container waiting for everyone to be certain he is dead in flagrant disregard for the Muslim laws on prompt burial.

Let’s see the apologists get their teeth into THAT give Bin Laden was promptly buried at sea…

Good on you for trying mate ,great that you find friendship in the church.
I may be seriously racist but one thing I believe in is that you dont bother converting them to Christianity
You simply help them on their path to the world of the 93 virgins , can you imagine a muslim terrorist fronting Allah
carrying his suicide head under one arm , the other arm missing and legs blown off.
Allah will say well done my son and here are your 93 virgins
But what the bloody hell are you going to do with them with your head under your arm

    Hi Ian! 🙂

After the LDS tried to recruit me – it was like being brainwashed by the Taliban – and I came to the truth of it all, I came to realise that they KNEW it was a load of garbage even before I happened on it and they tried to prevent me reading anything Anti LDS on the web, claiming it was all of the Devil – and the book of Mormon I got to read was on the web!!!

Add to that the tremendous pressure they put on me to get me to declare my failth in the book of Mormon WITHOUT READING IT FIRST and you get to realise we’re talking Cult behaviour here!!!

Plus they try to dish up the dirt on you so they have something over you that they can blackmail you with!

IOnce they knew they couldn’t convert me, Frank and his wife dropped me like a hot rock and I’ve heard nothing from them since…

    God Bless! 🙂

You have learnt much mate as it has taken me years to do as well , most religions are a cult in one form or another and the greatest religious cult is the Catholic Church as they are as you say , accepted in the public eye yet hide behind a veil of abuse and many other crimes including the second world war with the Nazis , stolen treasures with a Jewish ownership and they also ask for a tithe from their followers , anyway men wearing dresses always worried me
